Dow ugly early and bonds weaker put a soft tone to money in general on Monday.  Dow recovered 800 points from the lows, still off 55 points, 48,945 while bonds put a new high early and failed, 117.14, minus a point and a tic.  Not what you want to see in long term debt.  Wheat off 14 1/4 cents in the May futures contract, 577 1/4.  May corn slips 2 3/4 to 445 3/4 and beans off 6 3/4 to 1164.  Rice the only strength, 1097 1/2, plus 23 cents.
