We open the new month of trade Thursday with no great fuel from export sales and the grain room just churned traders.  Rice stronger early but sold off to 15 lower by the close, 1306 1/2.  Beans were a bit lower but rallied to 1050 1/4, up 5 3/4.  Wheat stalled, 531, plus 1/4.  Corn slipped 3 1/4 to 472 1/4.  Dow was firm but acted tired late, 40,855, still up 85 points.  Bonds off 24 tics, 115.28.
