In spite of rhetoric, China still buying, and in my mind will continue to buy US beans. Beans up a dime Tuesday, 850 1/2, and meal didn't do much to help. Corn came along for a penny, 324 1/4. Wheat slips 7 1/4 to 508. Rice still on the squeeze, 1906 1/2, plus 95. Casino is open for any bet. Dow continues the melt up 25,701, up 238, and bonds off 13 tics, 178.31.
Monday corn weaker by 2 1/2 cents, 323 1/4. Beans off 1/4 to 840 1/2. That's pretty decent given that china is supposed to be cutting off purchases, mostly beans and pork. Wheat off 5 1/2 to 515 1/4 Rice blows up for another 90 cent gain as the only bull trade in town, 1811 1/2. Dow churn but ends 85 higher, 25,463. Bonds of 20 tics, 179.12.
